CLPN always welcomes any contribution from Chicago community members. As the Network builds our foundations, we’re seeking local friends from the Latina/e community to volunteer in the key areas listed below. Want to help in a way not described here? Contact us!

Steering Committee

As the CLPN actively builds, we are looking for community members to serve on our Steering Committee. Similar to a Board, the Steering Committee will develop CLPN’s overall strategic plan, growth, policies, and programs. Interested applicants can learn more and apply here. Members of the Latina/x community in Chicago are especially encouraged to apply.

Write or Submit

Have a topic you’re passion about and want to write a blog post? Is there a school essay you’re proud of and want to share? Is poetry your outlet? Do you want to write a practical guide to something you know? Submit your work to The CLPN Zine! We love to amplify Latina/e voices and are proud to publish what you share in our webzine and our monthly physical print. Details coming soon.

ICE Alert Phone Tree

The ICE Alert Phone Tree is an urgent priority in response to the current ICE invasions and brutalizations of Midwest communities. CLPN is actively seeking 5 to 8 volunteers to launch the Tree and lead this project on an ongoing basis. CLPN is especially seeking volunteers with experience in communication, outreach, and marketing. Learn more here.

Gather Resources

CLPN is actively working to grow our Resource database by gathering and maintaining information on as many Latina/e-accessible Resources in Chicago and Illinois as possible. Volunteers are needed to search for and verify offerings, to send single cool links or projects our way, and to help us maintain our information. Details coming soon.
